Montelobos was founded in 2012 by Dr. Iván Saldaña, considered the world`s leading agave expert. The mezcal is distilled from 100% organic agave Espadín grown in the shadows of Oaxaca`s Mountain of Wolves. Pechuga is a seasonal release, triple distilled with a turkey breast suspended in the still. The turkey adds a thickness and viscosity as well as additional flavours to the final spirit.
