Mollydooker Velvet Glove 2007 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Shiraz in the McLaren Vale of South Australia. One of the most sought-after wines from the McLaren Vale, this is a powerful, uncompromising Shiraz matured in new American oak barrels. "Deep garnet-black in colour, the 2007 Velvet Glove is a little funky on the nose with meaty and earthy aromas underneath notes of coffee, mocha, vanilla and chocolate. Big and rich, with a very ripe, savoury palate, there is a little bitterness to the medium-levels of chewy tannins before finishing long." Wine Advocate, 2013
