100% Chardonnay produced from a walled vineyard on the outskirts of Meursault. A monopole produced exclusively by Domaine Jacques Prieur. The vineyard was established by the monks of Cîteaux and has produced red and white wines ever since. Aged in barrel for 18 months, the 2019 is attractive and charming on the nose with citrus and floral notes (acacia, rose, eglantine rose), that evolve into spicy, toasted nuances. On the palate, tasty, with notes of candied orange, candy cane, lime, passion fruit and aniseed, concluding on a mouth-watering, lingering finish.
