The 1978 vintage has had additional time to mature and develop its flavours, so you can expect a more evolved and complex profile compared to younger vintages. It typically has a deep ruby colour and rich, concentrated notes of dried fruits, spices and hints of chocolate and coffee. The texture is velvety and smooth, with a balanced sweetness and a lengthy finish.
