Makarounas Amphora 2022 is a full-bodied, skin-macerated white wine produced from Promara grapes in the Pafos region of Cyprus. Makarounas is a family-run winery located in village of Letymbou, Pafos – a place with a long tradition in vine growing. Here, a combination of maritime influence, elevation (altitudes of 400-600m above sea level) and poor soils composed largely of gypsum, limestone and quartz produces wines with profound varietal character and marked freshness. This amphora white wine is produced from the rare white Cypriot variety Promara.
