Following the 2012 expression, 2013 is the second vintage of Cristal using 100% biodynamically-farmed grapes for Louis Roederer’s own estate. It is also more approachable on release, with ripe fruit character and the use of oak in the fermentation process. Aromas range from crisp apple and lemon zest, to brioche, honey and white-fleshed fruits. The palate is creamy and textured, with hints of poached pears, honey and hazelnut.
