From the sublime 2012 vintage, this is a full-bodied and rich rosé Champagne produced from 63% Pinot Noir and 37% Chardonnay, aged for 4 years on lees and bottled with 9g/L dosage. The bouquet is intense and complex, offering up scents of red apples, candied orange, citrus blossom, vanilla and spices. Wonderfully ripe and smooth on the palate, it has a generous core of ripe fruit, lightly chalky texture and a superb thread of acidity. There is plenty of youthful appeal but this will develop nicely in bottle over the next 5-8 years.
