Located within the Saint-Estèphe appellation Château Ormes de Pez is the second property – after Château Lynch-Bages – acquired by the Cazes family in 1939. This 1982 vintage is standing the test of time, developing lovely tertiary aromas of barnyard, leather and smoke. The palate reveals crushed cherries, cassis, tomato leaves, hints of green pepper and sous bois.
