Château Langoa Barton is a leading producer located in the Saint-Julien appellation, which was classified as a Third Growth in the prestigious 1855 Classification of the Médoc. Langoa Barton has been owned by the Barton family since 1821, whose portfolio also includes the neighbouring Château Léoville Barton. The 2000 vintage is showing a lively nose of deep red berry, baking spices, thyme, cedar, and floral hints. On the palate, expect a light, elegant mouthfeel and beautifully resolved tannins.
