This particular release is made from the Saperavi grape variety, which is native to Georgia. Saperavi is known for producing rich, full-bodied red wines with deep colour and robust flavours. Expect notes of dark fruit, such as blackberries and plums, along with spices, herbs, vanilla, and a characteristic acidity. The firm tannic structure contributes to the wine’s ageing potential.
