Knockando 12 Year Old

Knockando 12 Year Old is an age-statement Speyside single malt whisky produced by the Knockando Distillery. Knockando was founded in 1898 as the Knockando-Glenlivet Distillery Company in the town of Knockando, overlooking the river Spey. The name Knockando comes from the Gaelic `Cnoc-an-dhu`, meaning `little black hill`, which is thought to be a reference to the hills which lie in-between the site of the distillery. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the Knockando 12 Year Old is an elegant expression of the light Knockando house style with subtle flavours of dried fruits, vanilla and woody spices.
