Kenwood Merlot 1996 is a mature Merlot red wines from the Sonoma County region of California. This cuvée was produced from vineyards in the Sonoma, Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys. The Kenwood Winery was established by John Sheela and his brothers-in-law, Mike and Marty Lee, on Highway 12 in the Sonoma town of Kenwood in 1970. For more than 40 vintages, Kenwood has produced exceptional red wines which reflect the diverse terroir of Sonoma Mountain.
