A red blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, barrel aged for 22 months (20% new French oak). The 2017 Belle Cousine is described by the winemaker as follows, "Deep aromas of black cherry and dark chocolate are balanced by cassis bud and anise. Subtle tones of tobacco and coffee round the palate for a full and rich finish. Perfumed violet and bright acidity brings feminine influence, offset by a robust tannic structure and subtle herbal notes in this highly ageable Bordeaux blend."
