Founded in 2015, HighGlen is a Swiss micro distillery owned by Gunter Sommer. This 3-year-old single malt was matured in HighGlen’s signature 100 litre casks and released independently by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. On the nose, there are dark fruits such as plums and black cherries, plus some nuts and chocolate. The palate suggests caramel, spices and a herbal aftertaste.
