Heitz Cellars is the iconic Napa Valley winery founded in 1961 by Joe and Alice Heitz. It is best known for its single vineyard wines made of Cabernet Sauvignon, and in particular the Martha`s Vineyard wine, the first vintage of which was 1966. Spring and summer in Napa Valley were ideal in 2002, producing wines with perfect balance concentration of flavours. 2002 was also the year that Linda Falls Vineyard was acquired and joined the Heitz Cellars estate.
