Grosset G110 Riesling 2023

Grosset G110 Riesling 2023 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard dry Riesling from the Clare Valley of South Australia. For more than four decades the Grosset family has been honing its craft of producing site-focused varietal wines of the very highest order. The estate vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic and all vineyard and cellar work is manual. Yields and production levels are correspondingly low - with quality over quantity very much the thinking. Produced in tiny quantities the G110 Riesling is produced from a single clone of Riesling from Grosset`s Rockwood Vineyard. Producer note on the 2023. "The G110 is subtly perfumed yet persistent, intense and powerful through the mid-palate and onto a lingering finish which is tight, ultra-dry, pure and fine. Grown and made under biodynamic certification, this wine has once again undergone extended time on lees. This encourages yeast autolysis which, combined with the distinctiveness of the clone and uniqueness of the vineyard site, contributes to its most distinctive flavour profile."
