Green Spot Quails Gate is a special-edition pot-still Irish whiskey produced for Mitchell and Son at the Midleton Distillery on County Cork. Initially matured in Bourbon and Sherry casks for, this whiskey was finished in barrels previously used to mature the Pinot Noir of the Quails` Gate winery in the Okanagan region of British Colombia. This unique whiskey layers ripe red cherry raspberry and dried cranberry fruit over base notes of baked apple, sweet pear, vanilla, marzipan, mixed peel and toasted oak.
