The Grande Rosé is a delicate but characterful wine. Never shouting exuberance it subtly and tantalisingly delivers waves of soft strawberry and red apple fruit with pleasant orange peel bitterness. This has a tightness and concentration that will benefit from further bottle age.
The NV Brut Grand Rosé is an elegant, vinous Champagne comprised of 55% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 8% still red Pinot Noir. Deceptively pale in color, the Grand Rosé offers plenty of textural intensity and resonance. Cranberries, crushed rocks, mint, white flowers, white pepper and orange peel abound. This makes a fine aperitif, but it also has the depth to pair with a wide range of foods at the dinner table. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged. Spring, 2019. - Antonio Galloni
