Founded in 1878, Glenrothes is a highly regarded and respected distillery among whisky enthusiasts. The 42-year-old Glenrothes is a limited-edition release, with only a few hundred bottles available worldwide. The single malt was distilled in 1970 and matured in a combination of American oak and Spanish sherry casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. Expect notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, honey and spice.
