Glenfarclas 19 Years Old Family Cask 2385, distilled in 2004, is a single malt whisky from the renowned Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside, Scotland. This expression exemplifies the distillery`s commitment to tradition, having remained entirely family-owned since its founding in 1836. Glenfarclas

Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.

The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
