Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle Bruno Clair 2012 showcases the distinct terroir of the Cote de Nuits. The vineyard, planted predominantly on Comblanchien limestone soils, features some vines dating back to 1965. Vinification involves the use of 30-50% whole bunches with a maceration period of 12-15 days in wooden vats. The wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels, of which approximately 30% are new. The 2012 vintage presents aromas of dark cherries and earthy undertones, alongside a firm tannic structure, indicating good ageing potential.
