Based in Rutherford, Frog’s Leap is a leading Californian producer founded in 1981 by John Williams and Larry Turley. All the vineyards owned by the estate and the partner growers have been farmed organically since the late 1980s, and many aspects of biodynamics are implemented. This mature 1983 Cabernet Sauvignon shows dark fruits, coffee, bitter chocolate and cream on the nose. On the palate, more of the same with mineral elements and tobacco to boot.
