Etna Bianco Terre Nere 2024 is a white wine composed primarily of Carricante and supplemented by smaller percentages of Catarratto and Grecanico. The grapes are sourced from various vineyards located at altitudes of 600 to 900 meters on the slopes of Mount Etna, with vine ages varying from 5 to 80 years. After harvest at the end of September, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing and are fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks, ensuring purity and expression of site.
A whiff of lemon oil mixes with sweet mint and crushed rocks as the 2024 Etna Bianco opens in the glass. This is juicy and playful in feel with ripe melon and a cascade of inner florals that swirl throughout. It leaves a salty sensation and nuances of candied citrus on the wickedly fresh finish.
