Alta Mora Etna Bianco 2021 is a light-to-medium-bodied white wine produced from the Carricante grape variety on the volcanic slopes of Etna in Sicily. The Carricante grapes grow on volcanic soil at around 600m altitude in Milo and Castiglione di Sicilia. Aged for a short time on lees in steel tank, this wine displays a classic flinty volcanic nose of Etna white wines, offering layers of fresh and dried fruit, with subtle notes of white flowers. The palate is crisp and clean with citrus and pear-led fruits, and a fine line of mouth-watering saline minerality. A wine that would pair extremely well with grilled fish and lightly cooked vegetables, or to enjoy as an aperitif.
