Eric Rodez Rose Maceration Edition 36

Eric Rodez Rosé Maceration Edition 36 NV is a non-vintage rosé Champagne from the domaine of Eric Rodez in Ambonnay. After spending some time working as a cellarmaster for Krug, Eric Rodez returned to his family winery in the early 1990s and decided to set up his own label. He currently cultivates approximately six hectares of vines in Ambonnay which are now certified biodynamic. Rosé Maceration Edition 36 combines wines from 2019 (22%), 2018 (34%), 2017 (9%) and earlier undisclosed vintages (35%), with the assemblage 28% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir (both direct-pressed) and 42% Pinot Noir with maceration. The dosage was 2g/L. Vinous, fresh, elegant and very persistent.
