Hailing from Northern Ireland`s Echlinville distillery, this release is part of the recently revitalized Dunville`s Very Rare range. In this edition, mature Irish single malt whiskey underwent a finishing period in eight exceedingly rare casks sourced from Guyana`s long-lost Port Mourant Estate. These casks, formerly housing a 41-year-old demerara rum from the legendary Port Mourant double wooden pot still, were originally lined with dark molasses treacle. The richness and intensity of this treacly character have endured over time, leaving an indelible mark on this cask-strength whiskey. Presented in a striking gift box.
