Based in the small village of Panjas, Domaine de Joÿ has been owned by the Gessler family since 1925. The estate consists of approximately 170 hectares of vines, of which 10% are dedicated to the production of Armagnac. Vintage Armagnacs are a speciality of the Domaine, with some bottlings being over 100 years old. This release from the 1984 vintage reveals a richly textured palate, with notes of prunes, roasted nuts and hints of caramel.
