Situated in Gers, at the heart of Gascony, the Gessler family has owned Domaine de Joÿ since 1925. The estate spans around 170 hectares, with 10% devoted to Armagnac production. The domaine excels in crafting vintage Armagnacs, including bottlings that surpass the century mark. This extremely rare Armagnac was distilled in 1893, the same year that the Ferris Wheel was introduced at the World`s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, becoming an iconic and innovative attraction in the history of amusement rides.
