This 50-year-old entry in Darroze`s range of blended Armagnacs has been assembled from their deep and varied cellars of single-estate eaux-de-vie from across the region. The nose is floral and delicate at first, followed by richer notes of demerara sugar, stewed raisins and earthy undertones. On the palate, dried fruits, nutmeg, leather, bitter barrel char and green leaves.
