Château Rouquette Sur Mer is, as the name would suggest, merely a stone’s throw away from the sea, located in La Clape, a coastal sub-region of the Languedoc. The 2014 Cuvée Henry is a blend of 40% Syrah and 30% Mourvèdre with the balance Grenache and Carignan. It is a hearty, full-bodied and sumptuous wine, saturated with notes of smoky black fruits, wild herbs, cracked black pepper and earth. Though rich and intense it is superbly well balanced and exhibits wonderful finesse.
