Situated in Napa Valley, Cosentino Winery is renowned for creating one of the pioneering Meritage wines, known as The Poet. This Bordeaux blend made its debut in 1989, although the winery itself was founded by Mitch Cosentino in 1980, with its inaugural vintage appearing in 1981. The 1994 M. Coz exhibits a deep, lustrous ruby hue without any discernible signs of ageing. Its aromatic profile is extensive, featuring notes of chocolate, black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco, and saddle leather. The wine displays excellent balance, boasting a lush mouthfeel and smooth texture on the palate.
