Cos D`Estournel 2003
The 2003 vintage, shaped by an exceptionally hot summer, is a blend of approximately 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. It delivers opulent black fruit, exotic spice, and hints of liquorice, supported by velvety tannins. Despite its richness, the wine maintains balance and freshness, showing remarkable ageing potential.

Since it was acquired by French businessman Michel Reybier in 2000, Château Cos d`Estournel has cemented its position as one of the top wine estates in the Médoc. This illustrious Second Growth produces a celebrated first wine, in addition to a second red, Les Pagodes de Cos and a white, Cos d’Estournel Blanc.
The key grape variety is Cabernet Sauvignon, together with Merlot and smaller amounts of both Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A superb example of high-class St-Estèphe, Château Cos d`Estournel is renowned for its powerful, rich wines, packed full of cassis character, with complex nuances of slate and graphite.
