The brothers Dominique and Laurent Courbis succeeded their father Maurice in the early 1990s and have since established themselves as leaders of the modern school of winemaking in Saint-Joseph and Cornas. This particular release is crafted from grapes grown in the La Sabarotte vineyard, which benefits from its location on steep, granite slopes. Expect a complex red wine boasting notes of blackberries, black cherries, and plums, complemented by hints of violet, black pepper, and smoked meat.
