Colomé Altura Máxima Pinot Noir 2021 hails from one of the world’s highest vineyards, located at an altitude of 3,111 metres in Salta, Argentina. Established in 2004, Bodega Colomé was founded by the Hess family, who sought to exploit the unique terroir of this extreme site. The wine undergoes one-third wholebunch fermentation, followed by 12 months of ageing in seasoned French oak. Characterised by its distinct herbal and earthy notes, it presents a complex palate with fresh acidity, fine tannins and a subtle interplay of fruit and floral elements.
