Owned and operated by the 11th generation of the Chivite family, Bodegas J. Chivite is the oldest and most respected producer in the region of Navarra. The limited production Colección 125 was first released in 1985 as a celebration of the 125th anniversary of the winery’s first export in 1860. The superb 2000 release is a blend of 66% Tempranillo, 20% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. At 21 years of age, this is now absolutely perfect for drinking.
