Clonakilla Shiraz/Viognier 2022 is a meticulously crafted wine from the renowned Clonakilla winery, situated in New South Wales` Canberra District. The blend consists of Shiraz grapes co-fermented with 6% Viognier, promoting aromatic complexity. A portion of the grapes was fermented as whole bunches, while the remainder was de-stemmed. The wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with 25% being new. Clonakilla, established in 1971, is noted for pioneering the Shiraz/Viognier blend in Australia, enhancing the region`s reputation for high-quality wines.
