2017 was the first ever release of pure Sangiovese from the historic Querciabella estate in Chianti Classico. From grapes sourced from the estate`s vineyard holdings on the slope of Ruffoli, on the eastern side of the valley, this wine was produced using the Piedmontese `submerged cap` method, which facilitates delicate extraction of flavour compounds and tannins, producing complex, aromatic wines.
