The Manetti family has owned Fontodi since 1968 and have 90 hectares of vineyards situated in the prime `conca d`oro` (golden shell) of Panzano, giving wines of supreme elegance, intensity and longevity. 2019 was another excellent vintage for Tuscany and this is a robust and generous wine with intense and complex aromas of red and black fruits with classic Sangiovese hallmarks of violets, vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins. It is the perfect wine to pair with fresh egg pappardelle with a rich meat ragu.
