Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee Pegau 2012

HED20534 75cl 14%
Domaine de Pégaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée 2012 is a complex red wine from the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the southern Rhône Valley. This vintage showcases the biodynamic approach of the producer, blending 13 grape varieties, primarily Grenache, with elements of Syrah and Mourvèdre. The wine exhibits noticeable characteristics of sweet red fruits, garrigue, and pepper, alongside a rich texture. Domaine de Pégaü, noted for its exceptional craftsmanship, has been a leading entity in the region, with a legacy rooted in tradition.
- Opaque ruby. Heady aromas of black and blue fruits, potpourri and Indian spices, with a smoky element emerging with air. Taut and sharply focused on entry, then fleshier and broader in the mid-palate, offering vibrant boysenberry and black raspberry flavors with hints of candied violet, smoked meat and licorice. Finishes spicy and long, with repeating florality and slow-building tannins.
