Starting out in 2006 at the age of just 23, Alexandre Chartogne (who runs the estate) worked briefly with Anselme Selosse, who has heavily influenced his ideas on viticulture, however, their winemaking styles are very different. The Hors Série series showcases unique expressions from Chartogne-Taillet`s vineyards. The 2016 offers a complex nose of citrus zest, almond, and subtle spice. The palate is layered, with a creamy mousse, balanced acidity, and a lingering, saline-infused finish. This Champagne reflects the innovative spirit of the producer while honouring traditional methods.
