Chapel Down Kit`s Coty Chardonnay is arguably England`s most celebrated single-vineyard Chardonnay. Produced from handpicked Chardonnay fruit grown on the chalky soils of Kit`s Coty vineyard on the North Downs of Kent, this wine is barrel-fermented with indigenous yeasts before being matured on lees in oak barrels for around eight months. It is a rich, opulent wine with complex aromas of white peach, apple and apricot. The palate is mouth-filling and buttery with notes of roasted hazelnuts, shortbread and sweet citrus, and a luscious, lingering finish.
