Cardhu 11 Year Old Manager`s Choice 1997

Cardhu is a Speyside distillery that has been producing whisky since 1824. It is well known for its smooth and mellow style, which is due in part to its use of mainly ex-bourbon casks for maturation. This release was distilled at Cardhu in 1997 and bottled in 2009 as part of ‘The Managers` Choice Single Cask Selection’, a series of cask strength whiskies hand-selected by various managers of Diageo-owned distilleries. This bottling is a single cask release, which means that the whisky is entirely from one barrel, making each bottling unique and limited in quantity.
