Cape Point Sauvignon Blanc 2008 is a mature-vintage Sauvignon Blanc white wine produced by Cape Point Vineyards in the Western Cape of South Africa. This 2008 vintage was produced by the acclaimed former Cape Point winemaker Duncan Savage. The wine was fermented in 95% stainless steel, 5% barrel, and matured for nine months on gross lees. Producer note. "The wine shows a complex array of tropical fruit, nettle and subtle herbaceous tones all held together by an incredible mineral backbone. The palate is rich and full made in a style to be a wonderful food companion."
