Domaine Bachelet-Monnot, a dynamic and relatively young winery, emerged in 2005 through the passion of two brothers, Alex and Marc Bachelet. The duo meticulously tends to a diverse array of vineyards, covering 20 appellations that include both family-owned and leased plots. Their 2021 Bourgogne Rouge exemplifies their winemaking skills, as it showcases a vibrant and expressive character, accentuated by the inclusion of 20% whole clusters during fermentation. Bursting with lively red fruit notes, this young Pinot Noir is a noteworthy addition to their already impressive collection of wines.

Bachelet-Monnot

Founded by rising stars Marc and Alexandre Bachelet in 2005, Domaine Bachelet Monnot manage 10 hectares of vines in the communes in Maranges, Santenay and Puligny-Montrachet. The focus is on traditional techniques, terroir-led winemaking - 50% new oak is used for Grand Cru wines, but employed to a lesser extent for Premier Cru and Village-level wines.

Key vineyards for Bachelet Monnot in Maranges are La Fussière, which they produce in both red and white, and Clos de la Boutière. In Puligny-Montrachet, Marc and Alexandre produce Premier Crus Les Referts and Folatières along with Grand Crus Bienvenues-Bâtard Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet.
