Blood Oath is the concept of John Rempe, a student of Bourbon and science who seeks out rare, high-quality Bourbons to create unique, never-to-be-repeated blends and cask finishes. This eighth Blood Oath release brings together three well-matured Bourbons. a 14-year-old rye, an 11-year-old rye and an eight-year-old rye finished in Calvados casks. The latter imparts a sweet apple character along with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
