Domaine du Castel Winery was founded in 1988 in the Judean Hills near Jerusalem by Eli ben Zaken. Blanc du Castel is made from 100% Chardonnay that was barrel fermented and aged for 12 months on its lees in French oak. This is a rich and buttery style of Chardonnay with delicious notes of citrus, stone fruits and roasted almonds.
