Black Elephant Vintners is a small, independent winery located in Franschhoek, South Africa. It was established in 2010 by three friends, Kevin Swart, Jacques Wentzel, and Raymond Ndlovu, with a shared passion for winemaking. The 2017 Dark Side of the Vine Semillon is a complex and elegant single-vineyard expression, boasting aromas of honeysuckle, white peach, and citrus. On the palate, the wine is dry and mineral, with notes of grapefruit, lemon, and green apple.
