Based in the village of Catelnau d`Auzan, Baron de Sigognac is a traditional armagnac brand owned by the Guasch family. All the eaux-de-vie used in their bottlings are made exclusively with estate-grown grapes, mainly Ugni Blanc and Baco. Their estate is the charming Châteaux de Bordeneuve, which also houses their distillery and 19th century cellar. This 90-year-old vintage armagnac was made with Ugni Blanc grapes and distilled in 1932, the same year that Amelia Earhart completes the first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean by a woman.
