Barolo Lazzarito Vietti 1997

Vietti Barolo Lazzarito 1997 is a full-bodied single-vineyard Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. Located in the village of Castiglione Falletto, Vietti was founded in the late 1800s by Carlo Vietti. The estate has gradually grown to become one of the most reputable producers Piedmont, boasting vineyard holdings in many of the most highly prized terroirs within the Barolo and Barbaresco appellations. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the single vineyard of Lazzarito in Serralunga d’Alba, a natural amphitheatre facing south-west on calcareous clay soil.
