The Vietti Barolo Brunate is a single-vineyard Barolo from the Brunate cru in the La Morra commune of the Barolo DOCG. Here the Nebbiolo grapes are grown on 52-year-old vines planted at a density of 4,600 plants per hectare. The soil is a mix of limestone and clay, which gives the wine its characteristic structure and minerality. The wine is aged for approximately 30 months in a combination of French oak barrels and Slovenian oak casks. This gives the wine its complex flavour profile of red fruits, spices, and violets.
